This simple ski tour with relatively gentle slopes (mostly under 30°) is possible under almost all snow conditions. Start directly in Matten when enough snow. After 20 minutes on old Färmelstrasse, turn right to Färmelbode where skis can be mounted. Ascent follows forest edge to tree line at about 1800m. In open terrain, views of surrounding mountains become increasingly beautiful. At the summit, enjoy panoramic views of Spillgerten, Albristhore, Wistätthore, and Wildstrubel massif. Descent is never too steep nor too flat - ideal for enjoying powdery snow.

Parking: At Färmelstrasse by the Mühleweidli fire pit
Access: By train from Lenk or Zweisimmen to Matten. Alternatively, Taxi 4x4 to higher starting point depending on snow conditions.
Safety: Avalanche transceiver, probe, shovel, and crampons required. Alpine skills and avalanche knowledge mandatory. Go with mountain guide if inexperienced.
